BIO-PAK + OTR 4060

Impermea Materials BIO-PAK + OTR 4060 is a 100% bio-based material coating with water and oxygen barrier properties. This formula is non-toxic, PFAS-free coating designed to provide superior hydrophobic properties and an increase in Oxygen Transmission Rate (OTR) compared to typical polycoated and waxed papers. It is gluable with both cold set and hot melt adhesives and is printable with water based inks. 

Due to the unique sugar cane chemistry that makes up this 100% bio-based coating, BIO-PAK + OTR 4060 is industrial recyclable, compostable, repulpable.


BIO-PAK + OTR 4060 must be paired with a top coat for complete barrier functionality. Compatible top coats include OLEO-PAK 4100, HYDRO-PAK + MVTR 4040 , or BIO-PAK + MVTR 4140 . Final performance depends on selected top coat and application conditions.
